Hello, I’m Sophia.

I’ve always been fascinated by the stories people tell themselves. The obvious ones. The hidden ones. The stories we inherit from our families, our cultures, our relationships, and the quieter stories that shape who we become without our even noticing.

Perhaps that is why I write. Not because I have answers, but because stories allow me to ask better questions. Questions about love. Belonging. Identity. Power. Desire. Courage. And the complicated ways people change each other.

Some of those questions become essays. Others become novels. Many begin as a single image, a conversation I can’t forget, or a character who refuses to leave me alone.

I write emotionally immersive romance and romantasy about power, longing, identity, and the complicated ways people survive each other.

My stories explore class, emotional inheritance, forbidden attraction, family expectations, and the tension between who we are and who we believe we are allowed to become.

I’m particularly interested in characters who stand at a crossroads. Women who are asked to become smaller. Men who carry both tenderness and damage. People who discover that love is rarely the end of a story, but often the beginning of transformation. Because that is what fascinates me most. Not happily-ever-afters. Transformation. The moment a person can no longer return to who they were before.

Beyond the Books

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me reading, researching, wandering through old houses and historic places, or thinking about human behaviour. I am endlessly curious about what motivates people. Why we make the choices we do. Why some relationships heal us while others leave scars. Why certain stories stay with us long after we’ve finished reading them.

That curiosity shapes everything I write. It is also what inspired this website.
